No charges will be filed in a series of rape complaints made by several women living in the West End of Montrose County.
Last year Ayngel Overson went public with accusations that she had been raped and the Montrose County Sheriff's Office hadn't investigated properly.
Overson's mother, and Mayor of Nucla Roxy Allex, said at least two other women had also been raped by the same man.
To get to the bottom of it former Sheriff Warren Waterman requested the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to look into the allegations of rape and the conduct of his administration.
On Wednesday Montrose District Attorney Myrl Serra told current Sheriff Rick Dunlap they will not prosecute based on the information received from the investigation.
