Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Closing

Homer Simpson will have to find another place to drool in Grand Junction as the local Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is closing.

The store is next to the Mesa Mall on highway 6 & 50. It opened to much fanfare in Grand Junction in April of 2004 as customers camped in front of the store to win a year’s worth of free doughnuts.

Signs on the doors say the store is closed and that customers can visit locations on the Front Range.

Employees were told of the store’s closing in a meeting Monday morning.
