An infant died Tuesday in Montrose after getting caught up in his crib.
According to the Montrose County Coroner, the child was trying to get out of bed when he got entangled in the attachment lines and suspended himself.
The 21-month-old baby died of asphyxia.
The coroner says the child's death is just a "rare and tragic freak accident". The coroner also says the child had a good and loving home.
