The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled one-million baby cribs after two infants were found dead.

It says a 9-month old and 6-month old died after the drop-side in their crib was installed upside down with older hardware.

The safetey commission is also investigating the death of a 1-year old in a Simplicity with newer style hardware.

The CSPC is also aware of seven infant entrapments and 55 incidents in these cribs.

The commission is warning parents and caregivers to check all Simplicity cribs to make sure the drop-side is installed correctly. It says hardware can detach from the crib creating a gap where infants can become entrapped.

If you have questions about your baby's Simplicity crib you can call the Simplicity Recall Hotline at (888) 593-9274 or the CPSP Hotline at (800) 638-2772.
