A cappella group Mo5aic has GJ ties

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- If you can’t get enough of NBC’s "America's Got Talent," you might be excited to know one of the show's semi-finalist has Grand Junction ties and is making his way back to town!

A cappella group Mo5aic gained popularity after winning it all on a show called MTV's “Top Pop Group,” which later became NBC's "The Sing Off."

Then in 2009, they appeared on “America’s Got Talent.

One of the singers Josh Huslig hails from right here in Grand Junction; he’s a Central High School graduate and Colorado Mesa University alum.

Huslig returned to his alma mater yesterday with the rest of Mo5aic, performing at CMU in the group's first grand valley performance.

Mo5aic will have two more shows during their stay in town. They're performing tomorrow night at the Avalon Theatre at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

They’ll also be featured on KKCO 11 News at Noon today! Tune in to see a live performance.

To purchase tickets to their Avalon shows, click on the link below. They range from $15 to $35.
