UPDATE: All lanes through Glenwood Canyon have reopened

I-70 was closed due to adverse driving conditions but has re-opened.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KKCO) - The Colorado Department of Transportation is reporting as of 1:21 PM, all lanes on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon have reopened.

Drivers heading through the mountains should be aware of adverse driving conditions.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is reporting that eastbound I-70 through Glenwood Canyon is closed due to poor weather. There's no estimated time for reopening.

CDOT reminds drivers to always be prepared with supplies and warm clothing in their cars before traveling. You can also check www.cotrip.org before hitting the road.
