GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Ale House is one of the many places in the Valley hosting a New Years party tonight.

In addition to the holiday event, the restaurant is hosting a fundraiser for Latimer House.

The Ale House reached out to their Facebook fans to see what organization they would like to see get a portion of their New Years profits.

Their top choice was Hilltop's Latimer House.

The Latimer House is dedicated to providing a safe haven for victims of domestic violence.

"It's great to come out and support Hilltops Latimer House, it's also great that they're supporting those women and children who use the services at the Latimer House. It lets them know they're not alone, they haven't been forgotten,” said Mike Green, the marketing manager of Latimer House.

The Ale House will continue to take donations by phone until 9 tonight.
