BOULDER, Colo. (AP) A 20-month-old Golden retriever named Amigo will take on the job of comforting victims and witnesses at the Boulder County Justice Center.
Amigo began his job Friday after two months of training. The Daily Camera reports (http://goo.gl/jsGvEp) that Amigo is the first courthouse dog in Colorado. His first case will be a sexual assault trial on Monday.
Amigo, whose name means friend in Spanish, is trained to be calm, quiet, and be petted.
