Counting through the 12 days of Christmas, we're heading into day nine, and of course, on the ninth day, “my true love gave to me nine ladies dancing."

All the moms out there might break out in dance this morning after we help you know more about a couple fun ideas to keep your kids on the nice list.

First, an app called Santa Scan-o-Meter is supposed to help your kids behave this season.

Your kid can touch the scan button and the scan-o-meter tells you how nice or naughty they are today.

Another tactic that's practically gone viral comes in the form of a cute little elf. You might've already heard of Elf on the Shelf or even have one hiding somewhere in your home right now.

Elf sits on your shelf or anywhere else in your house and keeps an eye on the boys and girls. It then reports back to the North Pole to give Santa a daily update once your kids go to bed.
