Dust off those skis! The Colorado slopes are getting ready to open up for the season.
If you have the day free and time to head toward the high country, the Arapahoe Basin is set to open up tomorrow with 18 inches of freshly made snow on the mountain.
It's the first opening date announcement in Colorado so far this season, and it's nothing new.
Reports say traditionally, Arapahoe Basin is among the first resorts to open across the state.
They plan to have one lift open to mid-mountain, where visitors can ride or ski an intermediate trail.
