MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) – Local law enforcement is looking for six people who fled when their minivan was pulled over on I-70.

Colorado State Patrol says at 2:19 Tuesday afternoon, a CSP trooper pulled over a Grand Caravan minivan with Arizona plates, traveling east on I-70 near mile marker 10.

As the van stopped, six people jumped out and fled. CSP believes the passengers were four men and two women.

Two people stayed in the vehicle, and they have been detained by officers.

Police and Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies are assisting CSP in the search for the fleeing passengers, using dogs to track them.
