INDIAN HILLS, Colo. (KUSA) He cleaned his car and left it unlocked, hoping to find it just like he left it when he went to bed Monday night.

Tuesday morning, Bob Monzel discovered a mother bear and her two cubs had a different plan for his Honda Element.

There was something inside the car the bears liked or maybe didn't like - or they were just looking for food.

Monzel said there wasn't any food in the car but the bears found plenty to chew on and tear up.

Insurance agencies say comprehensive coverage will cover this type of damage.
