PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) If you're a wine drinker, you have Palisade's Winefest... if you're peach lover, you have Palisade's Peachfest... and starting next year, if you're a beer connoisseur, you'll have the Palisade Brewser festival.

In early May, the town of Palisade will be hosting it's first annual festival to celebrate all of our locally brewed beers.

"We love our local beers and our craft beers and its growing and growing in the state of Colorado," says Palisade Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Juliann Adams. " The number of craft breweries are almost matching our wineries now."

Colorado Native, Palisade Brewery and The Peach Street Distillery have already committed to attend next year's event.

Organizers hope the festival will be a new tourist-draw for Palisade and a way for local brewers to expand their reach across the state.
