Bestselling author speaks about autism and animal behavior

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Temple Grandin will be speaking about autism and animal behavior at the Colorado Mesa University Ballroom tonight at 7 p.m.

Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital and Strive are putting on this event. Grandin is an American doctor or animal science and professor at Colorado State University. She is also a bestselling author, autistic activist and a consultant to the livestock industry.

Temple Grandin will be answering any questions and signing books after her speech. Some of Grandin’s books will be on sale through the CMU bookstore at the event.

Tickets are on sale now for $20 through TicketsWest and all City Market stores. You can also purchase tickets at the Bank of Colorado and Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital.
