Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – The Harlem Shake has become a YouTube sensation. Monday night students at Colorado Mesa University gathered at Bronson Arena to make their own version of the Harlem Shake.

The students brought out some odd outfits and their best dance moves for the video. Organizers posted an invite on Facebook. Their goal was to boost school spirit. They hope their video will compete in the number of YouTube hits among the universities in the front range. "It's showing like that we're all here and we're all mav’ s and we all want to, like, try to get everybody here , which we did with more then 1000 people, " says Jordan Price, a sophomore at CMU.

The video will be available on CMU t.v and YouTube. You should be able to find it on the internet starting this Friday.
