CNMA invites local artists to participate in exhibit

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Have a creative side? This may be your opportunity to show it off! The Colorado National Monument Association is partnering up with the Grand Junction Commission to hold a Monumental Art Exhibit from Jan. 10 through Mar. 31.

The partnership encourages Mesa County artists that are 18 or older to submit the Colorado National Monument in their best artistic endeavor. You may enter any paintings, drawings, photography, or 3-D art by Dec. 2.

Only 50 pieces will be selected for the exhibit.

Winners will receive various prizes, including gift cards and packages from the Grand Valley. There will be a “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” award.

Submissions may be mailed to the CNMA or handed in to the visitor center on the Colorado National Monument.
