Charges dropped in sister-in-law's death

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) -- Charges have been dismissed against the sister-in-law of a Colorado woman who died in 2003.

Mary Roseanne DeWild had faced charges of being an accessory to murder and conspiracy to accessory to commit murder in the death of Heather DeWild. The Jefferson County district attorney's office said Monday those charges have been dismissed.

Heather DeWild's estranged husband, Daniel DeWild, is charged with first-degree murder in her death.

His twin and Mary Roseanne DeWild's husband, David DeWild, pleaded guilty earlier this year to conspiracy to commit second-degree murder and is awaiting sentencing.

Heather DeWild disappeared in July 2003 just before her final divorce hearing. Her body was found about a month later near Golden.
