Cog fire threatens northern Colorado

HAYDEN, Colo. (KKCO) - The Cog fire in Hayden, Colorado has firefighters working early on Monday.

Although the fire has already burned an estimated 1,550 acres, the wind is consistently changing directions which is helping crews make good progress against the blaze.

No buildings have been threatened and there are no reports of injuries. The cause is still under investigation.

Hayden is located west of Steamboat Springs.
