While the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline has steadily risen over the past several weeks, Colorado's hasn't moved much.
The cost of a barrel of crude oil is almost $108, and the price for a gallon of gasoline nationally is $3.69. Colorado's average is right at $3.51.
In fact, over the past couple weeks, Colorado's average has fallen almost a penny, and, while that isn't much, most states are seeing increases.
The summer season is when the oil industry is least stable, so GasBuddy.com is expecting the price in Colorado to shift upwards soon.
