GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The school’s Parent Action Committee coordinated with the Montrose County School District to get volunteers involved with building a new soccer field this last summer.
The JES PAC managed the entire project from start to finish. With the help of Ron Eden, Marty DelTondo, and Randy Friend, the elementary school was able to have their first soccer field.
Lisa Pierce, the Principal of Johnson Elementary says the students are so grateful and are ready for the field to be used.
