MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) – The man who was hit by a vehicle while crossing Broadway Tuesday has been identified.
The Mesa County Coroner says John J. Timothy, 68, died from multiple blunt force injuries after he was struck by a Chevrolet Uplander on New Year’s Day.
His manner of death was ruled an accident, and the coroner found that Timothy’s blood-alcohol level was 0.075.
The incident happened Tuesday around 6 p.m. near Greenwood Drive.
