Coroner rules man's death a homicide

MESA COUNTY, Colo. It seems the Mesa County Sheriff's Office has another homicide investigation on its hands after a man's body is found early Wednesday morning.

The Coroner's Office just released the victim's name, and not much else is available at this time in terms of details.

The Coroner says the victim is 54-uear-old Cody Germany of Grand Junction and his death has been ruled a homicide. However, no other information is being released.

The Sheriff's Office was called to a home in the 3100 Block of D 1/2 Road around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning after getting reports of a gunshot. When deputies arrived, they found Germany dead in a driveway. The Coroner's Office did not release the cause of Germany's death.
