Crime Stoppers searching for theft suspect

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) This week Crime Stoppers of Mesa County are looking to track down a man that stole a backpack with valuable items from the Academic Classroom Building at Colorado Mesa University on Oct. 7.

Sometime between 9:40 and 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, a male subject removed a red and gray Ogio backpack that contained a black Asus laptop, a gray TI84 graphing calculator, an English 111 Book of Essays and prescription drugs. Video surveillance captured a white male wearing a dark jacket, a hat and dark pants.

If you know the identity or location of the subject involved in this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Information reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can earn you up to $1,000 cash reward you will remain completely anonymous.
