UPDATE 2:00 P.M.

DENVER (AP) -- Denver police have arrested another person accused of helping a fugitive get out of the Denver county jail wearing a deputy's uniform.

Police said Wednesday that 47-year-old Marilyn Reeves is being held for investigation of aiding an escape. Deputy Matthew Andrews was earlier arrested and accused of helping say 24-year-old Felix Trujillo get out of jail on Sunday night.

Police said no other details were available.

Andrews was arrested Monday at Denver police headquarters.

Trujillo was awaiting sentencing on aggravated robbery charges and was still on the loose Wednesday.

An attorney for Andrews says the 36-year-old and his family felt they were in danger after Andrews was threatened with a gun. The attorney says no money was involved.

ORIGINAL STORY

DENVER (AP) -- The attorney for a sheriff's deputy accused of helping a felon escape the downtown Denver jail says the deputy and his family felt they were in danger.

Deputy Matthew Andrews faces felony charges that he aided in the Sunday night escape of Felix Trujillo, who remained at large Tuesday.

According to the Denver Post, attorney Donald Sisson says Andrews had been threatened and there was never an agreement to help Trujillo escape in exchange for money.

Sisson says that on Saturday, a driver pulled up next to Andrews, aimed a gun at him and said his family and his life would be in jeopardy unless he helped get Trujillo out of jail.

Denver police refused to comment on the case and reports have been sealed.
