Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) --- Allegiant Air teamed up with the United Way of Mesa County and the Grand Junction Regional Airport today to bring their 'Dodge High Fares' dodgeball tournament to the Western Slope.
Teams from across the grand valley converged on the Bookcliff Activity Center to take part in today's tournament.
Team's uniforms ranged from matching t-shirts to full-on zombie costumes, but regardless of what they were wearing, the event was all about raising money for a worth-while cause and having a great time doing it.
"At United Way Mesa County, we always like to put the fun in fundraising," said United Way of Mesa County Development Director, Amanda Crysler. "This was the perfect event for us to be a part of and so we're just really thankful to the Grand Junction Regional Airport, Allegiant and also the National Dodeball League."
