Family says younger Jensen did not die from carbon monoxide

Two year old William Jensen did not die from carbon monoxide poisoning, this according to his step-grandfather.

Robert Mathena tells KKCO 11 News that doctors ruled out carbon monoxide poisoning in the death of William, though authorities have not released the details from his autopsy.

The young boy passed away Tuesday after he and his brother were left in their mother's car on the Mesa. On her Facebook page, mother Heather Jensen said she believed it was due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Meanwhile, there is no status update for 4-year old Tyler Jensen who suffered liver and kidney damage Tuesday night. Doctors have given him a slim chance of survival as he is too weak for any transplants.

As a mother and grandmother myself I do not understand how a mother could so such a lack of love and compassion for her children. I am sure once the state completes their investigation they will be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt this woman killed her son William and has caused her other son a life full of obstacles. I am totally disgusted by her behavior.

WOW!!! Looks kinda suspicious, almost like her husband is dead, which the marriage seemed on the rocks after reading about the domestics, she was meeting a man one month after his death and took her kids?? She didn't perhaps want the kids interfering in her new life? Her stories were soooooo different at first and she jumped the gun and said carbon monoxide on her FB page? hmmmm I feel for the family. How sad to have so much loss so soon.

There are just soooo many directions this INVESTIGATION could go. But in short, it's really not looking too good for this young "MOTHER". And I use that term loosely, about as loose as she has demonstrated her self.
