Many local families took advantage of fall activities like pumpkin patch outings, as a way to escape the norm and spend some quality time together.
One local family said they recently moved back to the area but head to Moon Farm for fall family fun each year.
"And I just like getting new memories... every year... just them experiencing it again again they appreciate it even more and its just fun," said local resident Christina Wickham.
Moon Farm has been in the family for generations and opened to the public 46 years ago. Ownder Dave Moon says they try to add something new each year.
"What's so neat about it is that you know everybody is happy, the kids are happy its just a fun time of year."
The farm added a pumpkin patch last year and a corn maze this year. The local destination close for the winter on Wednesday but will re-open in April for the spring season.
