GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Grand Junction Police Department is celebrating National Police Week from May 12-18. Each year the GJPD recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. Law enforcement.

This is to honor the 127 men and women in law enforcement who have put their lives on the line of duty to protect others in our community.

To show your support, please wear blue ribbons throughout this week to honor the men and women who were killed in the line of duty last year.
