GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Get ready to be frightened for a good cause. With Halloween just around the corner that means the Trail of Terror Haunted House is opening its doors to those brave enough to enter.

The haunted house is the main fundraiser for the Express All-Stars, a dance and cheer team representing the Western Slope. They compete across the nation.

This year they are raising money for the girls to compete at Nationals. Last year they made it to Worlds and were the first Colorado team to make it to that level. They are hoping to repeat their success again this year.

The haunted house is 14,000 square feet inside with an additional 2,000 square feet outside. There are 26 different scary rooms. It’s a progressive haunted house, meaning each room gets scarier as you make your way to the end.

The haunted house is open every Friday and Saturday night from 7 p.m. to midnight. The week of Halloween the house will be open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m.

Admission into the Trail of Terror is $12. On Halloween night Trail of Terror will have a safe trick or treat event open to all.

The Trail of Terror is at a new location this year: 328 2nd Street.
