GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Haunted houses go hand in hand with Halloween and on All Hallows Eve there were plenty to choose from. A few of the haunts were giving you a good reason to get scared as the proceeds were being given back to the community.

Hallow Screams at 1530 North Avenue is one of those places. On Halloween night there were many who stood in line waiting to get scared on last time.

Hallow Screams is an annual haunted house in the Grand Valley. This year proceeds from the haunted house will benefit Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, Mesa County Partners, and Base Camp 40 – Warriors in the Wild.

Hallow Screams has students from all four local high schools donating hours to help out. The students receive student volunteer hours for their work. Last year the haunted house raised over $10,000 for charity.
