Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – A Roice-Hurst Humane Society event will be held at the Hot Tomato Café & Pizzeria in Fruita this Saturday.

The pizzeria is working with “Paws and Pies” by giving them ten percent of all sales from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. This will help benefit the homeless cats and dogs at the nonprofit animal shelter and adoption center.

In addition to the fundraiser, there will be some activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A few dogs that are available for adoption will be at the event. Roice-Hurst will have a booth with RHHS merchandise with dog and cat quilt raffle tickets for sale. A representative from Chow Down Pet Supplies will be there with giveaways and a free drawing for a one-year supply of dog food and several gift baskets. The drawings will take place at 3 p.m.
