GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) Monetary proceeds went to the Mesa County Backpack Program, and the canned goods went to the Food for Friends Program, a school-run group that helps students when they need some extra help. The event took place at 772 Horizon Drive. Admission was three dollars a person, or two dollars with a canned good donation. A family of five got in for 10 bucks or seven with canned goods.
