The 29th annual parade of lights was tonight and many headed downtown to kick off the holiday season.
More than 100 businesses and organizations participated in the parade that started at 8th street and finished up at 1st.
Officials at the Downtown Partnership said it is the biggest parade in the Grand Valley.
"We expect thousands of people and you know the parks department has done a fabulous job of decorating main street, its just magical," said Kathy Dirks at the Downtown Partnership.
