GLADE PARK, Colo. (KKCO) -- If a wildfire should breakout in western Colorado, officials want you to be prepared.
Firefighters will be holding a workshop at the Glade Park Fire Department to help people prepare for wildfire season.
It will provide information on how people in high risk zones can prepare and minimize risk if a wildfire breaks out.
Experts will go over everything, from evacuation planning to creating defensible space around your home.
The event is at 7 p.m. May 14 at 16400 DS Road. Fire officials from several agencies will be on hand for the workshop.
