Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Tuesday night will be the last dance for a local country hangout. Whiskey River is changing ownership. The bar owner, Rusty Boyd , says Whiskey River has been a thriving local business since 2004 .
It has hosted artists like Blake Shelton, Rodney Atkins and the Bellamy Brothers. The owner Rusty Boyd, who owns another night club in Greeley, Colorado, says it's time to move on. Boyd hopes everyone will come out one last time to say goodbye to the club and staff members.
