GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A new movie recounts the life-threatening true stories of law enforcement officers caught in the line of fire, and Mesa County residents can get a sneak peek at these incredible stories.

“Heroes Behind the Badge” features men and women who have put themselves in harm’s way and survived—or made the ultimate sacrifice.

Now, local law enforcement is helping bring a special screening of the film to the Grand Valley.

You can see the film on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in the ballroom on the CMU main campus. Ticket prices vary, but proceeds from the screening will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

For the general public, tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Advanced tickets for CMU students are $5.

To purchase in advance, click the link below for the website link, or pay with cash or check at the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Junction Police Department or CMU.
