Libertarian VP candidate to visit CMU

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) -- Grand Junction has hosted both the Republican and Democratic parties. Now the Libertarian Party is joining in.

Libertarian Party vice presidential candidate Judge Jim Gray will make an appearance at CMU later on today.

  • When: 5:30 p.m.

Gray will speak to students and the public in the University Ballroom at 5:30 p.m.

He will address freedom of speech, the marijuana law reform, economic issues and jobs.

The event is free and those who attend will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

The visit coincides with Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson’s Colorado campaign stop. He will visit the University of Colorado today with a pro-marijuana agenda.
