Help local businesses support March for Babies

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- March Madness isn't limited to basketball this spring.

The March of Dimes is hosting its own March Madness competition between local restaurants and businesses.

Across the Grand Valley, 22 locations will be selling cut outs-- which feature the donors name to hang on the wall-- to raise money for Colorado babies.

All proceeds will go to the March for Babies on April 27 at Lincoln Park. The walk fundraiser supports programs that help women have full-term pregnancies. It also aids the families of premature babies.

You can buy a cut out at Boston's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Roosters, Charlie Dwellington's, Naggy McGee's, Rockslide, La Bamba, Blue Moon, Quincy's, Rib City Grill, Hooters, Old Chicago's, Rocky Mountain Pub, The End Zone, RNR Sports Bar, Chili's, Olive Garden, No Coast, Country Club, Kokopelli, Fruita Liquor Mart and East Valley Liquors.

The winning business gets $200 in cash and a thank-you party hosted by the March of Dimes.
