One local high school senior celebrates 4 years of giving. The 14-year-old provides more than 160 families with a meal this holiday season.

"I saw like the people on the side of the road and how fortunate i am and how much they don't have," said Christina Poole.

Poole teamed up with Head Start to distribute the food to families in need with a child enrolled in the Head Start Education program.

Reona Beltran at Head Start in Orchard Mesa said she was thrilled when Poole and her dad Gavin asked to help.

"We all know that every year there are families in need that stumble and just need a little help."

Each family received a Turkey, vegetables, gravy, stuffing and bread, and Poole used money donated by local businesses who wanted to sponsor her project.
