INDEPENDENCE, MO (AP) Jessica's father and other family members live in Independence. Mourners released balloons with messages attached to honor the girl. Jessica's cousin said they're now praying for the capture of her killer.
"There's not even words that can imagine to express how we would feel, you know, that we would know the persons or person that's caught and behind bars and justice is being served so they cannot do it to somebody else's kid," said Katherine Tiedman.
Thousands of law enforcement officers are working around the clock to bring Jessica's killer to justice.
