Loveland post office sends cards around the world

The U.S. Postal Service and Loveland Chamber of Commerce will be sending out Valentine’s cards and letters around the globe.

LOVELAND, Colo. – The U.S. Postal Service and Loveland Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to send Valentine’s Day cards and letters around the world with a “Loveland” special postmark. This is continuing a 67-year-old tradition.

Last year, more than 200,000 cards and letters were handled in more than 100 countries. There are deadlines for re-mailing and delivery by Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Cards should be mailed to Loveland by Feb. 4.

Colorado residents can also drop off pre-stamped envelopes at King Soopers and City Markets stores.
