Grand Junction, Colo. -- The Museum of Western Colorado will be opening a new exhibit tomorrow that will bring heritage groups together from across the valley.

The Western Slope Heritage Rendezvous: Treasures of the Community is inviting around ten other museums and cultural organizations to explain the history of western Colorado. The theme of the exhibit is “Treasures of the Community.”

Each participating museum, historical society and library will fashion their contribution using stories and artifacts from their collection.
