COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who briefly stole a vehicle with two young children inside.
The Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/10oxpDy) the owner was a few feet away when the man jumped into the running car downtown and drove away at about 2 p.m. Saturday. Police say a 10-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were in the car at the time.
The man drove about two blocks before he abandoned the car and ran away. He was last seen wearing a black and white checkered hooded sweatshirt.
No one was hurt, but police are investigating the incident as a kidnapping.
