GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) With today's changing insurance and political landscapes, everyone is looking for more information to help clear up the confusion.
The March of Dimes held a town hall meeting to give families an insight into how they can make their voice heard. At the meeting several local leaders spoke on the topic. They were giving advice and reinforcing the level high quality care we've come to expect.
Grand Junction and Rocky Mountain health plans are seen as leaders in the health care community.
"Really one of our challenges is we have all of these massive changes going on in the country is to make sure that what we have been doing for the past 35 years that we get to continue to do, to continue to provide that access and to find a way to really focus on the affordability of the system," says Steve ErkenBrack, CEO Rocky Mountain Health Plans.
Also in attendance at the town hall meeting were state representatives Steve King, Ray Scott, and Jared Wright. The evening closed with a discussion on how to get involved with March of Dimes here in Grand Junction.
