FRUITA, Colo. The Colorado Agritourism Tour finishes off the week at the Mike the Headless Chicken Festival.
Representatives from the Colorado Tourism Office ended their fun-filled activity day with a final stop at one of Fruita's most beloved festivals.
It's their first time at Mike the Headless Chicken Festival, and they say the Western Slope is quickly growing on them.
“The people are like the weather, you know sunny and bright, and it's a great part of the state, it's one of my favorite parts of the state,” says Michael Driver of the Colorado Office of Tourism,
The festival features live music, art and jewelry stands, and food.
The event runs through Saturday and will have additional car shows and kids activities, and everyone is welcome to attend.
