Missing Delta teen found

DELTA, Colo. Good news for the mother of a Delta teen who was reported missing earlier this week.

Abigayle Wietharn and the two boys that were with her have been located and are in the custody of law enforcement.

The fourteen-year-old girl was a runaway and was last seen in an Olathe neighborhood on September 1st.

She was found by officers from another city at approximately 3:30 P.M. in the afternoon on Thursday and despite the entire ordeal her mother is happy to know that she is safe and sound.

She shares with us a few words for her daughter.

“Everybody has been terrified for you I have told God from the beginning just bring her home, God, please just bring her home,” says Jenneva Wietharn, a concerned mother.

Details regarding the suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance have not confirmed by authorities, but according to her mother, the teen was found in Las Vegas.

The family attributes Abigayle's recovery to the close work of the Olathe and Delta Police Department and the strong push on social media.
