NFL season kickoff

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The NFL season has officially begun and Grand Valley football fans made sure they had prime seating for Thursday night's game.

The Seahawks who handily beat the Broncos in the Superbowl are favored by many to win it all again.

The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers took to the field to start off the action for the new football season.

The Broncos may not have been playing in Thursday's game but that didn't stop many from making it out downtown to join in on the kickoff festivities.

“I like the NFL football season because first off it's a great sport, second of all, the community for it is really good in Colorado, so when you're watching the sport or you’re at the game, you’re having a great time,” says Max Bacon, a Broncos fan.

Many local bars are installing some state of the art TV facilities to help motivate football fans to watch all the games outside of their homes.

Our very own Broncos will come to face to face with the Colts this Sunday for their first game of the season.
