National Monument gives free entry day

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. day, Colorado National Monument will waive entrance fees on Monday, Jan. 21. Normally an entrance fee is $10 for one week and an annual pass is $25 that lasts up to 12 months.

The Saddlehorn Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Exhibits, park films, a bookstore, and the Colorado National Monument Association can all be accessed from the visitor center.
