Officer claims girlfriend hit him with Bieber doll

DENVER (AP) -- A Denver police officer accused of beating his girlfriend claimed that she attacked him with a Justin Bieber doll.

Authorities arrested Officer Michael Nuanes Jr. in January on assault charges. He was released from jail on $1,500 bond.

According to KMGH-TV, Nuanes says the doll injured his foot. He also accused the girlfriend of kicking him, biting his finger and choking him, according to an Adams County Sheriff's Office report.

No charges were filed against the woman.

The way I see it, the simple act of posessing a Justin Bieber doll is reason enough to deserve a beat down.

Funny, A woman assaults a guy and she goes free, a defends himself and he goes to jail. There is just way too much of this that goes on. Yes, there is also way too much domestic violence against women as well. It works both ways, and yet the judicial system just doesn't see it that way for the most part.

A big, burly officer, and she did all that? I wonder what the other side of the story is.
