Palisade Fire Engulfs Two Buildings

PALISADE, Colo. The Palisade Fire Department was called out to two buildings engulfed in flames Thursday evening.

The fire damaged two buildings on the 300 block of west third street.

Crews initially had to wait to put out the fire as flames traveled up an
electrical pole.

Authorities say they cause of the fire is under investigation but all utilities had previously been shut off to the buildings and they have not ruled out arson.

Crews on scene say there was a mini roof explosion as well.

We will continue to bring you details as they become available to us.
